Thought you knew everything about the game? Here I will list a few things you might not have known.

Firstly, some notes about those paintings...
|
|
- The painting in the first cube entitled "Girl with a Broom", also appears in the Classic TV Show
Bewitched. In the Stephens home the painting hangs by the front door. For more on this see this link
- The painting in the first cube entitled "James Monroe", was painted by John Vanderlyn. Who was a native of Kingston, New York and has always been a favorite of the games author.
- The painting in the first cube entitled "Nude Descending Staircase No. 2", was painted by Marcel Duchamp. It is the game author's favorite abstract painting.

Astute players of In Cubation will note a small version of the Doctor's TARDIS from the BBC Sci-Fi Program Doctor Who on the bookshelf. The actual
TARDIS was designed, in full height, in 3D and reduced in size to fit on the shelf. Though they cannot be seen in the games version, the keyhole and the phone message
are on the full sized model.
Also what appears to be a yellow volt meter was actually inteded to be used for a puzzle in the game. The author
was not able to include the puzzle but the prop remained on the shelf during renders.
The blue and white vase was the very first thing the author created in 3D several years ago. It is put in
almost every 3D room he designs. A 3D Red Leather Book and the Wings prop (not shown) are also reused many, many times in his 3D work.

Some versions of the Game contain a goof shot. In the Blue Cube where the Lever Settings are shown (see map)
you can see a small green up arrow and a small purple down arrow floating in space above the settings.
When the shot was rendered some of the Elevator's 3D layers became unhidden.
"I had no end of problems with that darned Elevator and I guess it shows. Ooops."
